On May 9th, the Hellenic Bar Association Foundation hosted its annual Law Day celebration where students at the local Greek American Day School participated in an essay contest. This year’s essay question asked students to write an essay reflecting whether environmental laws and policies should control how corporations and individuals treat waste and other behaviors that affect the environment. The event was hosted by Judge Anna Demacopoulos and Co-Chaired by Elpitha Lambros and John Secaras and a beautiful reception followed at Winston & Strawn. This year’s essay winners were:
