Alexander S. Pissios, the visionary founder and CEO of Cinespace Studios (formerly known as Cinespace Chicago Film Studios), transformed the North American film industry by establishing the largest film studio and bringing Hollywood to Chicago. His tenure saw the production of iconic shows like Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and Empire. Alex brought many digital media employment and educational opportunities to the community in housing over 54 sound stages, dozens of production offices, support spaces and numerous production tenants. Beyond his studio work, he pioneered the CineCares Foundation and Stage 18 (now known as IFA), opening doors to the film industry for low-income residents in Chicago and empowering them to build successful careers in film and TV.

In 2021, Alex sold Cinespace and launched Alecko Capital, a global real estate, investment and lending firm housed in Fulton Market. In 2024, he established the Alexander S. Pissios Family Foundation, a noble initiative to ensure that dreams are created and realized by all.

Join us in recognizing Alex Pissios during the 74th Annual Scholarship Ball on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at The Westin in Lombard IL.
