On behalf of the Hellenic Bar Association Foundation, and the Officers & Directors, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in celebrating the 75th Annual Scholarship Gala, our Diamond Jubilee.
The theme of this year was “Celebrating Our Legacy, Empowering Our Future” and it was truly an extraordinary, record-breaking evening marked by remarkable generosity, unity, and pride in our Hellenic legal community. Thanks to our dedicated sponsors and supporters, we raised a record number of sponsorships and scholarships, allowing us to award an incredible $80,000 in scholarships to nine outstanding recipients from a highly competitive pool of applicants.
We were honored to celebrate our distinguished 2025 Honorees — Taso Pardalis, Hellene of the Year; Tina Manikas, Lifetime Achievement Honoree; Jimmy Samartzis, Visionary Impact Honoree; and Tinos Diamantatos, Lawyer of the Year — each of whom exemplifies the dedication, leadership, and service that define the ideals of the Hellenic Bar Association.
Our 2025 Scholarship Recipients — Mina Glaros Baniewicz, Christina Chornes, Anastasia R. Dalianis, Mia Gaddis, Erini Kosmas, Layna Kounelis, Athanasios Michalakis, Nicole Elyse Papanton, and Alexander Velis — represent the bright future of our profession and community.
A heartfelt thank you to our gala sponsors, generous silent and live auction donors, dedicated committee members, volunteers, and event planners, whose collective efforts made it possible to bring together our members, attorneys, members of the judiciary, friends, and supporters for an unforgettable evening. Your generosity and commitment helped make this milestone celebration a tremendous success. We are deeply grateful for your continued support of the Hellenic Bar Association and the Hellenic Bar Association Foundation as we further our mission to advance legal education and expand access to justice for those in need within our community.
The evening was filled with inspiration, camaraderie, and a shared commitment to continuing the HBA’s proud legacy of empowering the next generation of Hellenic legal professionals.
