HBA Member Louis George Apostol was recently re-appointed by Governor Pritzker to serve another term as Public Administrator of Cook County. Mr. Apostol has a distinguished 45-year career as a practicing attorney in Illinois and has been reappointed to this position multiple times since 1991. He formerly served as Executive Director & General Counsel to the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board and was appointed Commissioner/Trial Judge on the Illinois Court of Claims. He is a Past President of the Hellenic Foundation in Chicago and was recently elected as Vice President. He formerly served as Chair of the NIU College of Law Board of Visitors and continues his service to the board. He is the “Distinguished Advisor” to the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago and serves on the board of several other organizations in the Chicago area.
