HBA FOUNDATION
The Hellenic Bar Association Foundation (HBAF), the charitable arm of the HBA, gives back to the Greek-American community. The HBAF hosts an annual Scholarship Ball where it awards various level scholarships to deserving law students of Hellenic descent. At the Scholarship Ball, honorees are also recognized who are shining examples of their community or the Hellenic legal community.
Additionally, the HBAF promotes education by hosting an annual Law Day Essay Contest for elementary school children. Various students from the Chicagoland area attending Greek-American schools participate.
